How do you make an orange, an egg, and playdough sink or float? Just ask Lucas. Congratulations to my wife Christa Marie Zahradnik Miko who took 5th overall and 1st in her age group with a time of 22:36 in the Alpha 5K at SFU! Andrew's Kindergarten photo and my Kindergarten photo: clearly there is something to genetics and that hairstyle skill rocks after 34 years.

Opening Day 2011! Always a joy to watch my sons play baseball. The Saint Francis University SIFE Team was named 2nd Runner-Up today at the SIFE USA National Championship in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This is the highest the Saint Francis University SIFE team has ever placed and can be attributed to the hundreds of SFU SIFE students over the last 13 years who have built a strong sustainable SIFE program. We are very proud of them! found this toad today while cutting grass. Hours of entertainment for the kids...Toy R' Us should stock live toads.
I didn't think anything could top last weekend's captured toad until the kids found this turtle this weekend. They keep moving up the food chain...by the end of summer, they'll be capturing Kimodo Dragons in the backyard. This is what the dugout looks like during a rain delay for 6-8 year-old baseball..not too heartbroken about the postponement.....note: I was the supervising adult at this point. My boys (between fist fights).
